This pump can be used in both open and closed systems. Grundfos UPS pumps are of the canned-rotor type, i.e. pump and motor form an integral unit without a shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid.

This pump is comparable in size to Taco 0011, 0013, and Bell & Gossett PL-36 pumps. 3 Speed pump for extreme flexibility. Ceramic bearings ensure years of quiet, trouble-free operation.

Electronic starting unit provides the highest starting torque of any circulator in its class. Quick connect terminals for easy installation.
